As a professional makeup artist specialising in characterisation, I design and prepare special effects makeup for audiovisual projects, photography, theatre and events.

Blood SFX:
Blood special effects make it possible to create realistic bleeding and wounds live. They are perfect for horror, western, crime and other film scenes.
I can recreate different situations and effects, such as bullet impacts, cuts, tears, gushing limbs, bleeding eyes or vomit, using different characterisation techniques and products.
Bleeding prosthetics
I design and prepare makeup prosthetics with a bleeding effect, able to simulate a continuous flow of blood.
They can be used to recreate cuts, gunshot wounds, tears and other wounds that need a blood effect built into the prosthetic.
Gunshot effects
I create bullet impact special effects on the performer’s body, designed to be triggered during the scene and give a visible, realistic gunshot effect.
It is a particularly useful solution for shoots, fiction photography, shows and other productions that need a live impact effect.
Cut simulation
I can recreate cuts and wounds on the performer’s body using makeup and characterisation techniques.
I also prepare knives, scalpels and other stage props to create cutting, stabbing or dripping-blood effects, adapted to the needs of the scene.
Blood and fluids
I prepare fake blood and different types of fluids for special effects, adapting their colour, texture, viscosity and density to the needs of each scene.
I can create effects such as bleeding, vomit, drool, secretions and other fluids to apply to the performer, the objects or the set. I can also work with special shades, such as black blood, for scenes with creatures, zombies, aliens, rot and other fictional situations.
Makeup prosthetics:
I design and prepare handmade, custom makeup prosthetics, using different materials depending on the effect, the finish and the needs of each project.
I take care of the whole process, from design and sculpting to mould-making and preparing the pieces.
I can also add different finishes and details, such as punched hair, rigid parts, pre-painted pieces and other elements that help achieve a more complete and natural result.
I can create prosthetics to simulate wounds, scars, fractures, spots, burns, cuts, amputations, eyeballs and different changes in appearance.
Each piece is adapted to the size, format and characteristics the project needs. I am meticulous about my work and I like to deliver quality results, paying special attention to detail to achieve a convincing result on camera and live.
Dummies and replicas:
Dummies and replicas make it possible to recreate objects or body parts for scenes in which a real piece is not suitable, safe or practical.
I can prepare replicas of hands, hearts and other body parts, as well as objects such as bottles, knives, food and other elements that need specific characteristics for the scene.
I create pieces designed for actions such as breaking glass, taking blows, being thrown or handling apparently heavy objects, using light, flexible or resistant materials as required.
I work with different materials, such as silicone, resin, polystyrene and other characterisation materials, reproducing the shape, texture, colour and appearance of the original object to achieve a convincing replica.
