Character makeup: period, ageing, fantasy. For film and series, theatre, live shows.

Where I usually work in the province

Girona city and its surroundings. The whole Costa Brava, from Blanes to Portbou: Lloret de Mar, Tossa de Mar, Palamós, Calella de Palafrugell, Roses, Cadaqués. Figueres and the Alt Empordà. Olot and the Garrotxa. Banyoles. The Ripollès and the Cerdanya when the shoot heads for the mountains.

When people call me to Girona

Shoots and photo sessions on the Costa Brava, mostly between April and October, when the light and the coves draw production companies and brands. Commercials, music videos, editorials, series shooting in stone villages or on the cliffs.

Seasonal events: Temps de Flors in May, the Fires de Sant Narcís in late October, summer festivals like Cap Roig or the concert series in the coastal towns. Company parties in hotels and farmhouses across the Empordà. Three Kings parades.

Emergency drills with made-up casualties for hospitals, fire brigades, civil protection and training centres in the province.

Halloween in Girona, Figueres, Olot or any town with a party: makeup on location in the last week of October.

How travel works

You tell me the date, the location and what needs making up.
I send you a fixed quote. Travel to Girona is inside it, worked out by the kilometre. No surprises on the day.
If the day starts before dawn or runs over several days, we talk about accommodation and agree it in writing.
On the day I arrive early, with the full kit and the prosthetics already made. All I need is a table, a chair, light and a socket.

Girona FAQ

Do you charge more for working in Girona?

The service costs the same. Travel is worked out by the kilometre from the Maresme and shows as a separate line in the quote, before you confirm anything.

Can you do the makeup test in Girona?

Yes. The test happens wherever you rehearse or shoot. If the production is based in Barcelona, we can do it there and apply in Girona on the shooting day.

Will you make an early call time?

Yes. I leave the Maresme with margin and arrive before the agreed time. For very early call times, we look at accommodation the night before.

Do you work in small villages or only in the city?

Across the whole province. Villages in the Empordà, the Garrotxa, the Selva, the Pla de l’Estany, the entire Costa Brava. What matters is where the project is.

Can you make up a large group at an event in Girona?

Yes. For zombie walks, drills or parties with a lot of guests I run the makeup in a line: a quick base design, with detail only where the camera or the crowd will see it. The time goes in the quote according to how many people there are.

And beyond Girona, elsewhere in Spain?

That too. Same rule: travel in the quote, accommodation agreed in writing when there are early starts or several days.
